Where are you located and where do we meet ?

Flowers by Design is located in Hailey Idaho,  near the  famous Sun Valley ski resort.  Just call or e-mail for an appointment.   Usually we arrange everything by e-mail, but some brides have meet with me over tea or lunch at  Java or the Coffee House on Main St.   Call me @ 208-721-7517.

How can I be sure my flowers will stay fresh on my wedding day?

I promise fresh flowers on your wedding day!  It is all about how the flowers are processed.  I have a fail proof system and the best floral food (my own).  Your flowers will be cut under water, soaked 12 hours in the best floral food, expertly coaxed to full bloom, then "hardened" in exact cold tempetures 12 more hours which is different for every flower.  Every bloom is ready for show time on the wedding day and will look great even out of water.  This is why at FLOWERS by DESIGN we never have to tape or wire blooms. With correctly “hydrated “ flowers we are able to create the amazing bouquets and arrangements that you see in the latest wedding magazines.  Brides are always amazed, even my hydrangeas stay fresh all day!

What (if any) non-floral additions to floral arrangements do you offer?
Flowers by Design uses the latest trends in wedding florals from John Henry. It is a design where the natural stems show and stems are wrapped in decrotive wire or ribbon. No taping or old school green wire. We encourage Brides to add cool textures to arrangements like feathers, pearls, crystals and Bling!

Do you offer full-services, such as wedding day set-up, for an additional fee?
We are full service floral shop and have a free 2 hour set-fee included in every package deal.

If you have not worked at the ceremony and/or reception sites previously, would you be willing to visit the site(s) before the event?
                                Yes, of course!
