What words describe your ideal wedding?
"A magical forest in the early spring with the snow just melting and buds of new life just coming up."
FAVORITE FLOWER: Orchids and Ferns
Wedding flowers were done in white/black dendrobiums and white phalanopsis orchids. The Bride had every detail thought out!
I force bloomed 20 potted paperwhites for her, they were placed on the black tables surrounded in white tulle swirls.
A glorious aroma filled the reception hall! For the Alter, I filled her black urns with orchids, curly willows/huge ferns and moss to match her
pictures.
Her bridal bouquet had to have a wild enchanted look to it. And she
wanted orchids to be used on her cake, in a garland and on wreaths. The bride had collected many of her own supplies.
For instance, she had her own arch so I weaved a green garland over the arch she had
covered in her white tulle and tea lights. The whole effect was that of early spring buds,
greens over snow (tulle) with black accents. Her flower girl had a fresh orchid
pomander and wings!
It was a lot of work to match her exact pictures and drawings but she was
very pleased.
Many guests said it felt like they were in a magical forest.
